How it works

Move a player.
See what changes.

A whiteboard shows you the shape you drew. It cannot tell you that pushing your full-back twenty metres higher just handed over three per cent of the pitch and left three defenders against two attackers.

Possivo measures that while you are still deciding.

The two halves

The measurements need no AI at all. Pitch control, how compact you are, how far apart the lines sit, how many players can reach the ball, who is beyond the last line. That is geometry. It is instant, it is the same every time you ask, and it costs nothing to run.

The analysis is for what geometry cannot know. The board can see that your left back is alone against two with the nearest help eighteen metres away. It cannot know that the winger in front of him is weak on his right foot and stops tracking back after seventy minutes. That is in your notes, and it is where the analysis earns its place.

Using it

01

Set up the situation

Pick a shape for both sides, or load your own squad and let it fill the formation. Put the ball where the problem actually is, and set the score, because a goal conceded at 1-0 up is not worth the same as one at 0-1 down.

02

Move something

Drag a player and watch the read-out under the pitch. Control, space in behind, bodies around the ball, how compact you are, how many players sit in each third. Pin a shape first and every number then carries what your change cost. Nothing here calls an AI, so it is instant and free.

03

Draw what you mean

Runs, carries, passing lanes, freehand. Attach a run to a player and it follows him when he moves. Write a line on it, "decoy, drag their left back inside", and the analysis reads your words instead of guessing what the line was for.

04

Ask about one player

Point at the opponent who worries you and ask how to handle him here. You get the answer for this picture: who shows him which way, who covers, and what that costs you elsewhere.

05

Or ask about the whole board

Describe the problem in your own words. You get the cause, the change, what it costs, and the movements drawn on the pitch, which you can keep, adjust or throw away.

06

Take it to the players

Save the scenario with its ball position, score and reasoning intact, and export it as a PDF or a deck for the meeting.

What it will not do

It will not tell you what to think about football. If you have coached for twenty years, you do not need positional play explained, and it does not try.

It will not invent a player profile it was not given. Where you have written nothing about someone, the answer says so and asks for a line rather than inventing a weakness.

It will not pretend a frozen picture is a match. It answers questions a still board can actually answer, and says when the picture does not support the question you asked.

Questions

What is Possivo?

A tactical board for football coaches. You set up a situation, move players, and the board measures what changed: how much of the pitch each side reaches first, how many bodies are behind the ball, how much space sits between your highest player and the opposition last line. You can then ask for a read of one player, or of the whole picture.

How is it different from drawing on a whiteboard?

A whiteboard shows you the shape you drew. It cannot tell you that pushing your full-back twenty metres higher just cost you three per cent of the pitch and left your rest defence at three against two. Possivo measures that as you move, before you commit to anything.

Does the analysis just make things up?

It is given measured facts computed from the board rather than asked to estimate them, and it has to state the cost of every recommendation and show its working: which moment it read, what it counted behind the ball, how the opponent responds. If a count in the working looks wrong to you, the recommendation is wrong, and you can see that in a few seconds.

How does it know anything about my players?

Because you tell it. Each player has a note in your own words, "quick inside, weak right foot, fades after seventy", and that note outranks the shape on the board. The same winger on the same board produces a different answer once the note exists. Notes stay with the player, so what you learn about an opponent this season is still there next time you meet them.

Is it only for professional clubs?

No. The measurements need nothing but the board, so a youth coach with no analyst and no data subscription gets the same read as anyone else. What changes is what you do with it.

Do I need match data, video or a GPS system?

None of it. Possivo works from a position you set up yourself. That is the point: it answers questions about a situation you are planning for, not a match that has already been played.

What does it cost?

The free plan gives you the board, one squad and three saved scenarios. Pro is 12.99 euro a month and removes the limits, adds the analysis and exports to PDF and slides. Club is 39.99 euro a month for five coaches with a shared library.

Can I take the plan into the team meeting?

Yes. Export the board with the plan, the reasoning and the numbers behind it as a PDF or a slide deck, laid out to be read from the back of a room.

Twenty minutes will tell you

Set up a situation you recognise from your last match, move the player you were unsure about, and see whether the numbers agree with your instinct. The free plan needs no card.
